Cinderella - Rags to Riches in Pershore 

The unique style and exceptional technique of the dancers of Swansea’s Ballet Russe will keep you enthralled throughout the enchanting ballet ‘Cinderella’ performing at Number 8 Community Arts Centre on Saturday 15th March – 2.30pm & 7.30pm.

The company is made up of dancers, all trained in the Russian Classical style, all of whom are graduates from the Russian Ballet Academies including the Kirov, Bolshoi and Perm Academies.

Swansea’s Ballet Russe presents a unique production of a well-loved classic.  A romantic, rags to riches story about Cinderella finding her Prince much to the dismay of her evil step - mother and ugly sisters.  There are a whole host of colourful characters along the way, a fairy Godmother, fairies of the four seasons and even a group of mice. 

With choreography by Russian choreographer Alexander Semenchukov and magical music by Serge Prokofiev, this traditional tale is brought to life by adding a contemporary element to an old classic.
