 We are putting on a concert at Worcester Arts Workshop, Sansome Street, Worcester on 22nd November 2008 at 8 pm Tickets are £6.00 (or £5.00 concessions) Available from the Box Office on 01905 21095 www.DampiersRound.co.uk for more information Dampier’s round weave together an evening of music, rhythm and song. ‘Dampiers’ have played folk festivals around the country, this year at both Sidmouth & Whitby. They are well known in this area for their hi-energy ceilidh/barn dances & this concert features mostly their own tunes & songs! Moira can make your feet tap with her sizzling fiddle playing, whilst Clare runs through your emotions with her beautiful flute style. Rhythmic accompaniment from Peter’s guitar keeps things moving apace. Guest artists ‘Glamba’ will amaze with their Samba style drum beats, and then there’s one final surprise ‘Dampiers’ are keeping to themselves! |
