The Fingers
It takes a special band to see in the New
Year, and they don't come much more special than The Fingers, featuring
vocalist Robbie Turner, bassist Pete Savage, Geoff Lewis on keys, Andy
Platt on Guitar and from Funky Skunk fame, Dave Gibbon on drums.
Whenever this bunch of reprobates play anywhere they create a great
party atmosphere, and that's on a normal run-o-the-mill day so you can
only imagine the stuff that Robbie'll get up to on a New Years Eve.
There will be dancing and drinking and laughing and joking and more
drinking and a bit more dancing. Be quick with the tickets as they are
selling a bit rapid - I think they are too cheap personally but it was
the bands decision to keep the price down so you can have more drink...!
If you haven't seen them before you can expect songs from bands as
diverse as Kinks to Kula Shaker, Stones to Stereophonics Beatles,
Weller, even the Dutch legends Golden Earring get a look in and loads
more in between.
£15.00 a ticket and £20 on the door
