How does your garden glow?
For ten evenings in December, from Friday 12th to Sunday 21st, the lovely 30-acre garden at Spetchley Park is going to be transformed into a magical Christmas wonderland.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a walk through one of England's most evocative gardens illuminated by thousands of lamps and visual effects which create an enchanted fairyland.
Christmas is the most magical time of the year and the flat, obstacle-free trail will set the festive scene for both young and old. Look out for our new special effects.


See the garden in a new light
Father Christmas is going to be waiting at the end of the walk and handing out treats to younger visitors who have been following the free treasure trail.
Also at the end of the walk will be the chance to rest your legs and enjoy a warm drink or snack such as mince pies, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts and marshmallows – all toasted over an open fire. Get yourself in the mood for Christmas with the Spetchley Gardens Family Christmas Illuminated Walk.
Stout footwear or wellies and a small torch are recommended.
The route is wheelchair accessible but patrons will need a companion. Disabled facilities are available at the start and end of the route.
The gates will open at 4.30pm. Last admission will be 7.45pm with gates closed at 9pm. Entry to the walk is £6.50 for adults, £2.50 for children aged 5 to 16. Toddlers aged under 5 years old are admitted free. Tickets are available in advance by post or on the night. Tickets bought in advance can be used on any day of your choice. Group discount: 1 free ticket for every 10 tickets purchased. Coach groups must pre-book as there are a limited number of coach parking spaces available each night. For enquiries please call: 01453 810303.

A Plantsman's Paradise

Just three miles east of the beautiful cathedral city of Worcester and surrounded by glorious countryside, lies one of Britain’s best kept secrets.

Virtually hidden from the road, and largely unaltered in the last century, this lovely 30 acre Victorian paradise, belonging to Mr. and Mrs. R.J.G. Berkeley, has been lovingly created by successive generations of the Berkeley family, and boasts an enviable collection of plant treasures from every corner of the globe.

Clumps of wild primrose push up randomly through sapphire carpets of crocus and swathes of sunny daffodils in Spring, with billowing borders of blowsy perennials and tender exotics in Summer, and a palette of burnt orange, ochre and fiery red in Autumn.

From the first tantalizing glimpse of the garden across the magnolia-fringed Horse Pool, back round to the entrance through the Melon Yard with its olives and delicious pineapple-scented flowers, Spetchley is fu...[striped]
