“Glamba” are a fun theatrical percussion group who perform a unique blend of Brazilian, African & Western beats that are fused together to create a dynamic force of rhythm ‘n’ soul. In recent years, Glamba have imprinted their infectious style on the theatre, street & carnival scene across the UK, & in 2007/8, played in Barbados, Australia & New York . The performance features, multi media effects & contains a diverse range of art forms including dance, vocals & a tantalizing mix of percussive rhythms. The show is lively, fun & exciting & includes a wide variety of instruments from traditional samba drums through to experimental & contemporary work with drum-kits, dustbins, saucepans & yes, even a kitchen sink! Audience participation is a key feature of any Glamba show – clapping, stomping, in-seat & on-stage participation makes the night a truly unforgettable one! Join with the glitter & glitz of the festive period & sing along to some of those favourite songs with the Glam...[striped]
