This is a relatively new tradition at Marrs Bar as back in 2005 Vince, our Wednesday night jam master, decided we should charge a minmum of £3.00 admission for this one jamming session on the Wednesday between Christmas and new year, place buckets for cash on the stage, and performers to pay minimum of £1.00 to get up and play and all the money raised to go towards sending a very good friend of our's daughter on a well deserved holiday after her THIRD bone marrow transplant operation.

Then in 2006 we did a similar event to raise money for little Chloe Dixon who we raised £1000 for to aid with her very expensive mecical treatment, and this year we'll be raising money for..???
