Pershore Carnival celebrates its 40th
Anniversary in 2008. This year Carnival incorporates The Green Fest, the
Farmers' Market, Arena Events and a Barn Dance in the evening
It all happens on Bank Holiday
Monday, 26th May
The Farmers Market starts at 10am in
Broad Street.
The Carnival Grand Parade sets off
from Pershore Football Club at 1.30pm with the Carnival Princess and her
attendants.
The Barn Dance will be held at
Pershore Town Football Club starting at 7.30pm
Arena Events in Abbey Park start at
2.30pm
Charities supported by funds
raised on the day will be
Worcestershire Wildlife
Trust
Pathfinders
Pershore Talking
Newspaper
and West Midlands Search and Rescue
(Who are providing first aid cover for the Carnival)
Programmes, priced just 50p, and
detailing the events, Carnival Parade route etc., will be available
from Pershore Town Hall from the first week in May.
Carnival Princes judging takes place
at Pershore Town Hall on Saturday 19th April starting at 2.00pm.
