The Duckworth Worcestershire Trust, a registered charity,
was established in 1998 for philanthropic reasons, by the former chairman of
Worcester Heat Systems.
They are dedicated to the conservation, protection and
enhancement of the natural and built environments for the people of
Worcestershire. And also aim to relieve poverty amongst those who are
disadvantaged.
The Trust achieve these objectives through an active involvement in a number of projects,
a partnership approach to our work, the provision of funding, environmental
education and information provision, the environmental management of Chapter
Meadows and hard work by the Trust staff team.
The Pump House Environment Centre project involves the renovation of a 19th Century pump house in Gheluvelt Park, Worcester, to create an Environment Centre which uses and demonstrates a number of sustainable technologies.
